JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective: Set-up recutting machines to cut cores into smaller lengths for industry. Run and understand operation of the recut machines. Ability to problem solve issues related to the position.

·         Read and understand spec sheet and production orders to set-up machines correctly to produce a quality product.

·         Measuring, calipering, and checking the overall quality of the tolerances per spec sheet.

·         Understanding all machine operations to cut the product to spec sheet/customer specifications.

·         Identifying quality deficiencies and ability to identify and perform corrective action.

·         Ability to communicate finished product on production order.

·         Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area.

·         Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up and other essential tasks assigned.

·         Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend and twist throughout the work day.

Requirements: 

·         High school education/GED

·         1-2 years of manufacturing experience with prior machine operation and set up experience

·         Must be able to read a tape measure

·         Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Shifts Available: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 5AM - 1PM. Starting rate of pay is $26.82/hour.
