JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Set up recutting machines to cut cores into smaller lengths for the industry. Run and understand the operation of the recut machines. Ability to problem-solve issues related to the position.


Essential Functions


1. Read and understand production orders to set up machines correctly to produce a quality product. 

2. Measuring, using a caliper, and checking the overall quality of the tolerances per the production order.
3. Understanding all machine operations to cut the product to the customer specifications.
4. Identifying quality deficiencies and the ability to identify and perform corrective action.
5. Ability to communicate finished product on the production order.
6. Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
7. Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up and other essential tasks as assigned.
8. Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, and twist throughout the workday.

Required Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior machine operating experience is required, although machine-specific training will be conducted through our formal training program.

Rate of pay starts at $26.97 per hour, with potential to earn up to $29.47 per hour.

Hours for 3rd shift are from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday, including overtime.
